If you look closely, Karmyn, you’ll see trees. Yep, if it made sense to, I could stand nekkid in the tub and no one would see me…our house backs up to woods :).
Also for Karmyn, do you see somethin’ that once lived at your house? I took the photo a few weeks ago, so it looks a bit different now, but this is what it looked like BEFORE I discovered a guilty pleasure.
Not for Karmyn, I threw in a picture of the ceiling; it’s one of our favorite parts of the bathroom. We considered painting it, but I’m glad ultimately we decided against it.
FYI, Fun Monday is hosted by the lovely lady mentioned thrice in this post; if you’d like to show your crafty side, please follow her link to get the details.
I would have had to come over there (wherever you are) and beat you up if you had painted that ceiling! It’s GORGEOUS! And I love the trees right out the window.
My sister and her smelly bath products…. 🙂 I got Lemon Custard (or something to that effect) for Christmas. I love it — but it makes me want to break the diet and go to the bakery.
And I’m with Nan. Don’t touch that beautiful ceiling!!
Very cool!!! I LOVE the ceiling! I’m glad you didn’t paint it – very beautiful and unique.
And now knowing the view is completely “spy” free – I’m coming over for a long hot soak!!!!
I’m just catching up on your last 3 posts. That ceiling is to die for, you won’t want to leave the bathroom it’s just beautiful.
May I come live in your bathroom? Can I also eat your yummy philosophy bath stuff? Yum.
Nan…Ooooo, your feisty gene is showing!
Amanda, Karmyn is evil…it shows in how she tortures us with soap that’s totally unedible but smells like you should be able to eat it.
Karmyn, a glass of wine, a good book, and you’ll be a prune in no time. Been there, done that, just not when it’s 87 degrees outside…
Chris, I’m giving up on catching up anywhere…ain’t gonna happen any time soon I’m afraid…
Marnie, It’s big enough you could hang out there and we’d never know you were there. Actually, we would know you’re there, but since you’re all “chesty love” and all that, I think Tad might welcome the intrusion. Especially if you soaped up with chocolate and strawberry Philosophy products. Then I’d have to kill you both.
awesome, I am jealous, can I come over to your house to take a bath ;)))
Wow. That ceiling is fab. What a great bathroom. Can I come over and soak in your tub for a while? It looks very relaxing!
I just love the ceiling. I’m in the middle of a little constuction at our house and living through it isn’t easy but it’s so nice once everything is done and the dust has settled (literally!)
If I didn’t mention it in a previous post lemme mention it here: you remodeled bathroom is gorgeous! Details like a beautiful ceiling only add to the whole package. Well done.
I notice the glass door on the shower (very nice) goes all the way to the top of the doorway’s opening. Do you have trouble with the shower stall filling up too quickly with steam/fog? I guess it depends upon whether or not you take really hot showers.
