Today’s photo from Laura for 15 words or less poems (YIKES!)
Clowns, in general, don’t spook me; Ronald McDonald, for some reason, always has. In spite of that, I sure had fun with this poem….
Frozen grin
Plastic, feigned expression.
Never blinking,
never thinking,
Crazed fast-food obsession.
Clowns never really bothered me. Dolls are much worse. Like those fake stand-up keep in the box dolls. YUCK.
Never trust anyone who smiles too much, even a clown.
He IS the creepiest of all, though I do enjoy his food.
I am scared of clowns. Seriously.
I don’t like Ronald McDonald, the clown, and I don’t eat at MickyD’s but I will forever be grateful to the Ronald McDonald Houses that we stayed in during our son’s two open heart surgeries.
It is a wonderful thing. My husband and I would love to be “house parents” someday when he retires. A worthy organization.
Well, I like him for his looks. 😉
And the food is also ok if not the best.
But the poem is nice. 🙂
You can read my poems here.
Deb (who is still in her pumpkin patch) is going to freak when she sees this.
Tomorrow post a bunny and watch Min get the crap scared out of her!
O M G! He is the clown that puts Freak in Freaky Clowns. *LOL* You did warn me to enter at my own risk. I was prepared.
LOVE the poem. 🙂 You so rock!
BTW I want to Thank You for wishing me to get well. I am so much better now. 🙂 TY so much for thinking of me. 😀
Great poem…that Ronald you have there is sort of weak looking. I’m not sure how to put….a kinder, gentler Ronald.
I love that poem. Very creative. And definitely an obsession– at least the fries are.
Kiraa, why is Chuckie all of a sudden coming to mind?? He’s a cross between Ronald and a doll in a box…(yikes!)
Robocop, hmmmm, interesting advice.
Kila, I wonder how many burgers they woulda sold if they didn’t use a clown for a spokesperson…
Wow, Kim, you have a different perspective…
Cuckoo, oops! I’d better visit, huh?
Nikki, we know waaaay too much about people, don’t we?
Debs, glad you were STILL able to grin!
Beckie, JUST WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? 😉
Mike, these days, the only thing I’ll eat from Mickey Ds ARE the fries! (but I had fun writing the poem, so thanks!) 🙂
