Taken outside our playroom window a few weeks ago. While I was talking on the phone, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, and voila! He was eating some breakfast and taking in a show…ME!
Now I have that song in my head:
“I always feel like somebody’s watching meeee
And I have no privacy, whoa-oa-oa…”
I’m watched by deer. Lots of them. 20 or more.
Now I am reminded of a UK cereal advert maybe he was working out what to steal!
I have done the 7 tings meme thanks for the tag I was trying tot think what to write so it came at a good time!
I almost had a picture like that yesterday – but I don’t think the squirrel noticed me. He was too busy trying to get the peanuts I had put in the feeders to notice me watching.
Aww, isn’t he cute?! I know what you mean though… a couple months ago, I heard this scraping sound on the screen of my window, near where my computer is, so I leaned waaaaay over to look out and see what it was. And there was this big squirrel hanging onto the screen staring right at me! Ack! I’m not sure which one of us was more scared, but I know I did a lot of screaming. 😉
We have a small family of squirrels vist us several times a day for biscuits and malt loaf.
There’s Mum, and her three little Squidglings.
She had them late in the summer so they’re all almost the same size now. We can tell the Mum though, as she’s the one who comes up and takes the food from our hands.
It’s great to see them chasing each other round the garden. Chasing the cats, and pouncing on the pidgeons that try to take their malt loaf.
Great picture, and yes, you ‘were’ being watched. Very intelligent, artful little animals, squirrels.
Happy madness days.
Pete.

Great picture! I also posted my 7. Thanks for letting me play!
I used to live a place with squirrels, they really are curious and social creatures. I caught them more than once studying me through the window.
That a great shot. I wonder what he was thinking. Or if they do think, in the way we know it.
I’m amazed at how many critters you manage to get shots of, lol! This one is particularly cute:)!!
AW…what a cutie!!
Dear robin. Cutie pie! (oh, the squirrel. And, errr, you too!)
We have a few that steal from the bird feeders. I put peanuts on the flat one, in hopes that will divert their attention from the tube hangers.

Wow, I would have paid good money for that show! J/K 😉
Careful–he might be a spy for Willowtree.
