My view for the week during our 20th Anniversary trip of our lifetimes,
to Hermitage Bay, Antigua, perhaps the most glorious spot on planet earth…
certainly one of the most romantic destinations imaginable.
With snowy or cold days for so many, I thought a visit to
a warmer clime might do a body good. It did mine :).
Another view of same…
"There's no place like home" might be true, but it's also true
"There's no place like Hermitage Bay".
This is when my feet are happiest :).

Oh, wow, that’s pretty! I love the colors!
that sky is b.l.u.e
Other than my two-year-olds face, that is the most beautiful sight I have seen all week!
What a wonderful capture. I love the contrast of the brilliant blue sky against the umbrella. And it so makes me want to see the beach you would see if the camera were tilted down a bit. NOT seeing makes it that much more powerful.
Wow look at the blue sky! Must be nice!
I can’t believe you camera captured that blue so well. Just gorgeous.
Geez, that’s awesome. I could swim in that sky.
I was shooting pictures of umbrellas on the beach last month, but nothing comes close to the contrasty, glowy goodness of these two images. You’ve captured something beyond a picture here. You’ve preserved a moment. Nicely done.
The colors on these shots are stunning!! It just looks relaxing.
Beautiful picture! Please find mine here.
Happy WW!
ahhhh ..i’m jealous but I’ll be back to visit the you and the umbrella..happy ww.thanks for the blog visit.
Oh my gosh! The sky is soooo blue!
Somehow looking at this makes me feel like relaxing. 🙂
Happy WW!
Lovely. So is that your shirt? Hmmmm… Happy WW!
These photos paint a very inviting picture. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip!
That looks beautiful !!
What a great creative shot!
Gorgeous! Such a rich blue sky and the contrast with the umbrella is wonderful. I’ve forgotten what a sky like that looks like!
That would make a great poster!!
I wish I could go there!
Roll on some blue skies for us please!
The color of the sky is yummy.
Great photos. Can’t stop looking at them.
Happy WW!
Oh, how I could use that right about now! At least I was able to enjoy your pictures 😉
Stop by Livin’ With Me to check out the Blogaholics Anonymous blogroll I have started.
Ooh! I’d love to be there right now!
Oh to travel once again. I am glad you got to experience such a place.
ah, that’s refreshing in comparison to the grey mess outside my window!
What is hanging from your umbrella?
I wanna be there.
I posted a camouflage cowboy snowman. And spelled camoflauge wrong on the WW page. LMAO
Absolutely dreamy…
Gorgeous shots, Robin! And it looks so warm, which is quite appealing to me. We’re freezing here in good old Colorado, cause the utility bill is OUT OF CONTROL!! So I’m all about warmth these days. LOL! 😀
Sorry I haven’t been around much. It seemst that I’ve just recently gotten back into making the rounds of the blogosphere. Too many things were happening and I kind of missed out on lots of my bloggy friends.
I did guess on the puzzle in the can, though. I even added your puzzle button to my sidebar. Makes it much easier to pop over here now, too!
Thanks for dropping by. 😀
Thanks for the moment of warmth
OOOH how lucky. Love it!
Oh thats cute umbrella and its warmth me. mine is up
Wow, that’s beautiful. Of course it just makes me want to escape somewhere!
Outstandingly beautiful!
OH, gorgeous! I think I may have to talk to my husband about our upcoming 20th Anniversary….
OK I LOVE that first one!!! It makes me feel like I’m laying on the warm beach. 🙂
Oh I SO want to be there right now. Wonderful shot. So warm and relaxing. Thanks for sharing.
OOOOOOO, how wonderful!
Hey guys…thanks for your thoughts here…since I’ve been out all day, no chance to respond, but tomorrow I’ll check back in (after lunch :/) to reply to a few things here…:)
MyCrazyLife, now THAT’S high praise!
Robert, if I ever (daggum) finish writing about our trip, I’ll have more pictures…this is one of the best, though.
Carmi, “glowy goodness” and “preserving a moment”…love the way you expressed that :).
Ronda and Sister Honey Bunch, hehe, I was wondering if anyone would ask. It’s a cotton beach cover-up I got while we were on the Old San Juan portion of our trip….I LOVE that dress thingie, but it came off as soon as I hit the beach! Had to hang it SOMEWHERE…;)
Dianne, we don’t have no stinkin’ snow here, but it has been cold…that’s why I NEEDED to look at this shot again!
