Hermitage Bay Beach, October 2007. Three views of the same piece of driftwood (more like a driftTREE)–which one is your favorite? Why??

Nice photo indeed! Happy WW!
Great driftwood!
The 2nd one. I like all the layers.
i like the 3rd one – it provides more lighting and color.
happy ww.
I have to go with number 3. The first two are too much in shadows for my liking. In the third, the tones of the wood work well against the sand and the rest of the background. I do love looking out into the horizon in the second one though. Nice work.
While the first one has an interesting, quirky perspective, I like the second because it daws in the eye better.
I like the last two but the first one made me dizzy. LOL!
That is in a word, beautiful.
I really like them all, but the first is my favorite because of the odd angle.
I like the first for its different perspective .I like the second one for its composition. I like the third one for its lighting.
Number 2. Amazing work.
The second one. I can’t explain why. It just speaks to my sea lovin’ soul.
The second one. I can’t explain why. It just speaks to my sea lovin’ soul.
I like the first one for the angle reminds me of a scene from Lost.
The third is my favourite I like the contrast of the sea, the green hill and the sand.
I like the angles on the first one and also it reminds me of a book I just read with kids about finding letters in the shapes of world around us, I see a “V”
I love the perspective on number one. It is a very interesting way to show the tree , it looks like it is reaching out to the viewer.
Number 3 is my favorite because I love all the colors in the photo!
The third is my favorite, it looks like some kind of prehistoric dinosaur.
I like them all but I think my favorite is the last one because it captures more of the scenery…
Great pics. I miss the beach.
I personally like the first one…I love the perspective! That beach looks like a place I used to hang out…
I like the last one because you can see the water and the land. Very cool!
I love the angle of the first one, but they’re all beautiful!
The first picture was hard to tell what I was looking at, but that along with the others – that’s a very interesting tree and on a very very beautiful beach – thanks for sharing!
Happy WW 🙂
They’re all beautiful. My favorite is #3. I think it speaks to my need for seeing the “big picture.”
Wonderful driftwood shots.
I like the thrid one. It has the nice background, and seems almost bordered by it.
I like the second one. It’s taken from the “driftwood’s point of view.” It’s like you become one with the driftwood.
Cool find! We love finding treasures like these.
Beautiful shot Robin! ANd have I ever said you look like Natalie Portman in that photo on the side? I think it every time I visit.
I like #1. I want to be there, laying under it taking the picture.
Nice! I especially like the dynamic angle of the first one. :~D
I like them all…there’s some real stories to be told by that log.
Hugs,
Holly
I think the first one because it looks like a guy with his head in the sand and attempting a cart wheel. 🙂
