Lately… My pastor spoke on Psalm 63 last Sunday night. It’s the one about David’s soul thirsting for God as in a dry and weary land… it made me rethink whether I actually thirst for God or if I just take him for granted. I have to say, it’s mostly the latter, unfortunately. It was a good reminder.

This isn’t a traditionally inspirational quote, but I always feel good reading it. It makes me want to create, and to feel good about doing it.
Oh…I love this one!!! I get to share a favorite passage from the bible. This is harder than it sounds…I have different verses for different reasons. Some to keep me humble (OK – a lot to keep me humble), some to keep me faithful, some to keep my eyes upon God. But my favorite has always been Matt.6:25-34. I will not take up a lot of space as this is a long passage but I will share the last verse…”Matt. 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” I remind myself of this often…take no thought for tomorrow…it will take care of itself!!
