Before I share my thoughts from my conference weekend, first things first–

Happy Birthday to my favorite-oldest son! If ever there was a child who seizes LIFE, he’s the one :).

Hilton Head, SC, May 2008. Crawling through the sand tunnel he had spent the last few hours carving with one of his friends. Satisfaction and smiles on his mission accomplished!

Happy Birthday Favorite Oldest Son. I love that you call him that. My Dad always called me his Favorite Oldest Daughter. My sis was really pissed that she was the Favorite Youngest Daughter. She wanted to be the Favorite – Period.

Happy Birthday!!! I used to go to Hilton Head every summer for a week. I loved it there! Someday We will go again.
