I wasn’t going to post anything today because I wanted last night’s post to remain at the top (if you have time, I’d still very much appreciate your thoughts), but when my daughter showed today’s "Pearls Before Swine" comic to me, I couldn’t resist posting it.
Hit a nerve? Comprendez vous? If you’re a blogger reading this, I KNOW you can relate!! 😉
Wait a second, was she trying to tell me something? Hmph!
🙂
TOO FUNNY!! I was just out for lunch today with my parents and one of my sisters and they were nattering at me because they can never get a hold of me on the phone because I’m always ‘blogging’ and tying up our phone line. Yes, I still have DIAL-UP! I told them that my cell phone is always on, but that didn’t seem to appease them. *sigh*
A friend told me about a t-shirt her husband just ordered for her…”I think, therefore I blog”.
This comic was perfect timing for me today!
Joy
very funny!!
and a little to close to true for me LOL
HA!
Can’t believe you beat me to it! My son showed me this comic today and I was laughing my head off. Hubby said I needed to post it on my blog. Guess I’ll just link to you instead . . . it’s easier for me. Ha! Ha! And it is all about me, right? Maybe me and you. Even if the rest of the world goes on without us. LOL!!! 😀
So funny 🙂

Great comic and a wonderful reminder to us all!!
Hey! I resemble that cartoon. Very funny.
OMG!! I think I needed that today! Maybe It was a sign to get off the computer and go do something!
ok, that is just want I needed today. I was feeling kinda down and in a weird funk- but that caused a little giggle! Thanks
Guilty!!
Joy, I’m not where your friend ordered that tee, but the Jollyblogger has ’em on his site.
Dianne, to tell you the truth, I’m surprised I haven’t seen this anywhere else (then again, I haven’t blog hopped a whole lot, either) :).
Hulagirl et al, I think anyone reading this resembles that remark ;).
Pearls Before Swine is one of my very favorite comics. I read it every day & I routinely think it strikes really close to home. 🙂
Ha ha ha ha!!! I love Pearls Before Swine.
(And I think the answer is yes to the last question…)
I love “Pearls before Swine.” Before Steve Pastis was famous. I wrote him a note saying that I enjoyed his work. He sent a reply and thanked me for the kind words.
HAAAAAAA! I need to have that as a tattoo or something. Too funny … and too close to home.
So funny, and so true. Thanks for sharing this poignant reminder that there is more to life than blogging. 😉
