Friday and Saturday I had opportunity to attend the Women of Faith Conference in Atlanta. There are so many WONDERFUL stories to tell from the roughly 36 hours I was there–and soon I will!–but for now, one of the oddest-but-funniest memories was catching an elevator ride with Cheech Marin, in town to perform a show with his old buddy, Chong.
More on that, later, too :).
(A shout-out to Patsy Clairmont, whom I cannot say enough good things about. She is my new lovieBFF xo.)
I thought that’s who that was! I think he’s a great actor. Can’t wait to hear about your weekend.
I am so jealous. Can’t wait to hear all the details. An elevator ride with Cheech? Did you say, “Hey Cheech, going up or coming down?” And Patsy???!! WOW. Did I mention I’m so envious?
OMG girlie! you rock!!
I have to admit I still watch his old movies sometimes! They are such a scream! He seems to be aging well!
Wow Robin! Sounds like an amazing and fun trip!!
Hiiiii-larious. Can’t wait to hear about the rest of your weekend!
ROFLOL. There are a few jokes in there somewhere, I’m just too sleep-deprived to find them. 😉
So cool!
Is he as nice in person as he seems? I have grown to love that guy!
I’m so jealous! I went to a WOF conference years ago and have been dying to go again.
lol, too funny! great photo 🙂
Oh, man, I wish I had a talent for quick-joke-generation, because there must be at least 45 to one hundred wrapped up in this set of circumstances.
And it’s also a reminder to have a camera on hand AT ALL TIMES.
You are totally cracking me up! How totally fun. Can I stop saying totally now? You bring it out in me!
it’s clear someone was with you who brought you down with the influence of crazy. instead of keeping your head held high, you obviously gave in to the insanity. so that begs the question, where is the other half of this comedic mess? and no, i am not talking about chong!
How cool that you got to meet Cheech!
Very cool!
Okay I can think of–oh–a thousand people that I would have expected to see pictured at your blog before this one! Wow–how funny is that?
Wow; that is too cool! I’m also excited about getting to go to Women of Faith when they come to my area in November.
Cheech! How cool is that?
Oooo! Ask him about Lost!
That’s really neat! That was real nice of him to let you snap a pic!
