Isn’t it fun when you’re one of the “first” people to discover something wonderful rather than chasing the backside of a bandwagon?
When it comes to the internets, sometimes it’s hard to discern what’s worthy of your time; every.stinkin’.day new sites are launched promising the latest and greatest in whatEVAH. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time sifting through the noise sometimes.
Tomorrow marks the official launch of a very sweet “sound” and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it:
“Take hope to heart” is (in)courage’s tagline and it fits like a pair of well-worn bunny slippers the moment you try them on. Under the auspices of DaySpring, the Christian subsidiary of Hallmark, (in)courage is a collaborative effort of over 20 women who will share their stories, encourage you, and sometimes even challenge your faith. We won’t claim to have all the answers but we’ll wrestle with truth and grace and forgiveness and sin just like every one who follows Christ. One of the coolest aspects to (in)courage is some of the contributors are lending their creative talents beyond words.
Some of the contributors you already know; others, you’ll be thrilled to meet.
So…please, check out ; follow (in)courage on Twitter; and learn how you can be a part of a community that isn’t just adding noise. It’ll make a difference in your day.

I can’t wait until we all really can meet in that beach house…
“Fits like a pair of well-worn bunny slippers”… I love that!! What a fun week this has been meeting everyone!
Robin, I’m looking forward to the day when I can give you a real life hug! I love your spunk and amazing heart. Your post about your mom on (in)courage is absolutely incredible. Thank you for sharing your life with us! I’m thrilled to be (in) with you!
I’m bringing the chocolate….
So true about the newest!, greatest!, bestest! sites that keep coming along. I belong to so many “ning” sites I’ve lost count (and interest). Thanks for sharing this, though, because if there’s one more thing I DO need from my time online, it’s a bit of enrichment. I will be checking this out!
The thought of THAT makes me downright GIDDY! But you and I get to meet SOON!! Can’t wait til Asheville!! 🙂
It HAS been fun (but even I’m a little behind…! YIKES!!)! How much do I love that you quoted one of my favorite lines of the post? I actually have bunny slippers!! 🙂
I can’t wait, either, Holley :). You’ve been such an encouragement to me already–and the site’s not even official! Thank YOU for this wonderful opportunity (a thousand exclamation points!!!!!)
🙂
You might just be my new BFF 😉
Stacey, I had to grin about your Ning remark…ai yi yi, I’ve fought those suckers for YEARS but I’m finally operating decently in a few. (in)courage WILL be a source of encouragement for those who take time to visit…THAT I can already tell!! 🙂
Congratulations!!!
What a fantastic project – and perfect for you. I just took a look at the site and the other writers and you are in great company. I am sure you all will bless so many!!!!:)
