Sometimes I can be quite literal ~
South Carolina foothills, surprise snowfall February 2010.
This is what I did to get ready for our 15th annual Valentine Tea.
For a Southern girl who has never seen a White Christmas,
a White Valentine's is pretty doggone sweet.

As a SoCal girl who can count on my fingers every snowstorm I’ve experienced and has just moved to Colorado, I feel your snow love. I’m giddy over the fluffy white outside our door.
Ashleigh, "giddy" is PRECISELY the word that fits; I almost used it in this post but felt like I say it too much already (when it comes to snow). So happy to know I have a snow-sistah who understands my snowgiddiness! :).
a South Carolina “low country”
girl understands snow
excitement too! =)
Hey there! I’m in SC, too!(near Columbia)
We absolutely loved the snow.
I grew up in the upstate, and saw a little more of it than what we typically see here in the midlands. But, it was the first true snow my 9 & 11 year olds have ever seen! Absolutely beautiful!
