Intoxicating
Scent, Summer's golden prophet
Nectar of fairies.

Thanks to Barbara (Xerraire) who graciously granted me permission to use her delicious honeysuckle photograph. She has a wonderful eye for finding and capturing beauty on her photo site, Xerraire Art.
ooh – haiku… wanting time for this lately, don’t have it. Sad, isn’t it?
Found this the other day and thought of you: The Art of Haiku
Everytime I smell honeysuckle I’m taken back in time to my great grandparents farm. There was a bridge on their land going across the creek that ran through the community. Right along the bridge honeysuckle grew. Now everytime I’m out for my walk and I smell honeysuckle it’s like I’m transported back to the creek and bridge.
Lovely Haiku!
