I suspect God made milk for the sole purpose of marrying cinnamon rolls; what is fine on its own is exponentially better when coupled–
July 2010, Chattanooga, TN. Niedlov's Breadworks cinnamon rolls. "We love to knead. We knead to love." I love their kneads!

The story behind the photo: This morning I received two texts:
9:06 a.m. "Dont eat breakfast. im putting a treat in mailbox."
9:46 a.m. "go to mailbox for a treat for the family. enjoy! thanks for being such good friends"
OH*MY*LANTA! My taste buds are standing in ovation! In the words of my daughter (and I concur) "These are the BEST cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted!" We've been in Chattanooga almost as long as Niedlov's but somehow missed this diamond. I love their story; I'm impressed with their offerings. And now that we've met? I can't wait to become better acquainted!
Your turn: I'd love to know two things: 1) tell me about your favorite local spot & why it's your favorite; and/or 2) what are your favorite foods, good on their own merit but much better paired together?
p.s. Thank YOU for the , Jason! You make a great friend, too :).
Peanut butter and chocolate!!
Also, coffee and cake (and cookies, and chocolate.. and just about anything goes with coffee!) =)
Have you tried Chattanooga Cupcakes yet? Between those cupcakes and Clumpies it’s a toss up for my “local favorite” (translation: local indulgence).
