You–yes, you–are invited and I promise, it’s an indulgent afternoon not to be missed!
It’s Therapon Skin Health’s® inaugural Face2Face Event and the Southeast’s only opportunity. Consider it a spectacular thank you for including PENSIEVE in your blog reads :).
First, a little background and then I’ll give you the delicious details.
A few months ago friend and marketing consultant extraordinaire Stephanie Bryant connected me with a client of hers, Therapon Skin Health,® she thought would be a mutually beneficial fit. She introduced me to Christina Stumbaugh, Therapon’s social media marketing manager, and shared the story of its founder and CEO, Dr. James Beckman, a board-certified plastic surgeon and chemist. I won’t go into those details here, but I was impressed with what I read.
I’m a natural skeptic when it comes to health and beauty. It’s so difficult to make discerning choices through the noise of print ads, department store counters and drug store aisles. I hate to buy anything that someone I trust hasn’t recommended; goodness knows I’ve wasted more money on poor choices than I care to remember!
Well, the more Stephanie shared about Therapon, the more intrigued I became. All of their products are:
- Paraban Free
- Not tested on animals
- Simple to use
- Medical Grade
- Non-Comedogenic
I especially respected Dr. Beckman’s goal to give over $5 Million to missions over the next few years. Anyone who operates their business with a mind for others earns my esteem.
At the Type-A Mom Conference I had opportunity to meet Christina in person. Her in depth knowledge about the products impressed me more. I couldn’t believe their affordability compared with their closest competitor (a third of the cost!). Everything I heard I liked, but there’s something even more important–
After using the products for just a few weeks, I can tell a huge difference: my skin hasn’t looked this great in decades. Decades, people! My skin tone has evened out and it looks healthier. My husband even noticed the improvement!
So…I’ve signed with Therapon to write for their site as a–don’t laugh!–Real Beauty blogger! I’ll be joining Christina, my good friend Jo-Lynne and my new friend Romy as we share our thoughts on real beauty, inside and out. For me, this is a stretch, and I’m excited to face the challenge of writing for a niche I’m not 100% comfortable with, but one that will give me the freedom to explore what real beauty looks like. I truly hope you’ll journey with me.
Now, the party deets–I know that’s what you’re really interested in! It’s a Spa Day!

Oh my gosh! This sounds awesome! Vanderbilt Wife clued me in to this, and I’d LOVE to get on the guest list! I’m emailing you right now!
If I was in driving distance I would SO be there!!!
Robin,
I treasured your words today over a in courage – thank you – I already commented over there so nuf said 🙂
And if I drove all the way From St. Louis to Chattanooga for your event (and I did check the drive time) I’d have to forfeit my man card. Sorry.
And one more thing. And I apologize because my comments are always too long. Anyway, I’ve thought lots about your blog name and I think I may have found out why it’s so perfect. Here are my guesses. Could you tell me if I’m getting hotter or colder?
First, there’s the French ‘penser” – to think. Hmmmm. Maybe.
There’s the Latin, “pensare” meaning to ponder, and also “pendere” – to weigh. All of that makes sense.
Or could it be as simple as this?
Dumbledore: “I use the Pensieve. One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one’s mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one’s leisure. It becomes easier to spot patterns and links, you understand, when they are in this form.”
Harry: “You mean… that stuff’s your thoughts?”
Dumbledore: “Certainly.”
I think that’s the one.
I find that I now must – MUST – know.
You don’t have to tell me – BUT I”M DYIN’ HERE
Please and thank you.
I’ll be writing with you too girlfriend!!!
my skin is also changed and amazing since using Therapon!
so glad we could experience this together…wish i could come!!
xo,
lisa
Bingo ;).
I started my blog after Book 5….
Robin,
Wow. Never looked better? I’m intrigued. I’ve tried just about everything under the SUN and have never found anything that actually works well for my skin.
Makes me wish, AGAIN, that we lived closer. I’d be there in a heartbeat.
Are you sure you don’t want to host this in Idaho instead? LOL. I would sooo be there.
Have fun!
i heard about this from a friend recently… and like many others, am very interested in learning all i can.
i have a ridiculous number of skin care lines hiding beneath my bathroom vanity. Estee Lauder, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Arbonne, Avon, Oil of Olay (red and black)… and the list continues… all of which may have worked… perhaps… if i had given them more than a week to work their magic.
the sun is the only thing i have found that my face truly loves! but there’s that whole controversial sun vs skin thing…
i would definitely love to attend a face2face event and learn all i can about therapon skin health… as i am finding it more and more difficult to convince people that i am 29. : )
OOooo, Love2Laugh, I would LOVE to have you! A few spaces are still available. Can you email me at pensieve(dot)me(at)gmail(dot)com? Or follow me at @PensieveRobin on Twitter and I can DM you deets!
🙂
Becky,
I would LOVE to host one in Idaho and West Virginia and Texas and HAWAII and … 😉
Can’t wait to see you today!!!!!!!!
Superb!!!
