After over a year, I still see their faces…on my computer screen, in my mind, but mostly in my heart. I'm not sure what this little one was eating, but it was juicy and she enjoyed every drop.
May 2009, Calcutta, India. Traveling with Compassion International with a team of bloggers, we went and saw so we could show and tell, sometimes with words, sometimes with pictures. I chose this photo for I Heart Faces' weekly photo challenge; this week's theme is "Orange." Though I have a surprising number of pictures featuring a face and the color orange, her chocolate eyes and that juice pouring through her fingers compelled me to choose her and that slice of whatever-it-is.
