“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?”
~J.B. Priestley
Whispers of snow in the forecast send me wishin' on stars and tossing salt over my shoulder. Kidding–I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow with a floody front yard instead of sleddy. But as I snuggle under a pile of covers tonight, the mere thought will have me dreaming of dancing sugar plums and smiling in my sleep.
I found this wonderful quote by Priestley on a post by Miz Booshay over at Pioneer Woman Photography; it's a delicious elixir of words that perfectly expresses my heart on the matter.
Sweet dreams or no dreams….

Just rain here too where I am in Alabama. Too far south I guess. But just the thought is still magical and it is raining so at least I get to wear my cute rain boots.
