“Sweet didn’t know what it was til it met Rachel…”
Told by a 10-year-old to her mom about my teenager.
Moments like that and I think maybe we’re getting it right some of the time. Of course (and once again, I smile) it could just be she was born that way.
Rachel just said, “I love you mom but you must be SO annoying to other parents…” My kids might end up hating my blog…….
I just had a thought…this must be kinda like what it is for a PK when their dad (or mom, in more “liberal” denominations 😉 )use them as an example in sermons….that might be a s t r e t c h
I did have a warning in my title, though!
That’s a huge stretch because A. Rachael is everyting and more than what her little friend said of her and B. You are far from a Preacher! 🙂

Thats like being crowned the mom of the year award.
Oh how we love it when our kids grow up to be loving and resemble someone other than … uh… me.
How cool, to hear praise for your children. Not that I’m all about affirmation with out training, but we should praise their best more often.
God must have great plans for her life!
