Yesterday while blog-bouncing (after my dental rant and while my jaw regained consciousness), I discovered an unexpected buried treasure. I follow a gazillion blogs (I use the word “follow” very l o o s e l y), so I usually like to read several posts written between my visits.
One of my favorites is Jennifer’s over at Snapshots. She writes well and her posts encourage.
Perhaps none so personally encouraging as this one 🙂. After my visit with the macabre Dr. C (who, by the way, also went into a dissertation on Steve Irwin and how he “did himself in” by pulling out the stingray barb), finding a link to one of my posts was equivalent to a dose of Blogger vitamin C.
ref to crocodile guy: when in shock you don’t think about what you are doing.
three years ago I broke my leg. As I sat on the stair landing I looked down and say my foot looking back at me at this weird angle. I went “ooooh!” then reached down and straightened it out. Of course that’s alot different then pulling a barb from your heart. But, I would have done that, too… I’m sure.
okay – that still gives me the heebie jeebies….
I like how you linked to the Carnival without really linking to it….clever girl.
I went over and trid the picture choosing….and I couldn’t decide. I couldn’t be brave like you and go with my first choice. I had to choose several just to see. sigh – big mistake.
My W.V. – indttub – in de tub?
A big sunshiny Vitamin jolt for me too! Thanks.
I also have been reducing my daily visits. By only visiting select blogs every couple of days, I think it helps manage my blog reading time better.
Hey K, I wasn’t trying to be a clever girl, lol, I posted that before the Carnival was up (since we were headed out of town). Hated waiting til Tuesday to link it. Thanks for the (undeserved) props!
I enjoy Jennifer too!!!
Poor old Stevo. We love watching Croc hunter, and he will be missed. I learned about perentie goannas from that man.
Anyway, I can just imagine what Dr.C must have said about our beloved Aussie, having just been to the cadaver exhibition! LOL.
Oops, my internal homeland security is rising again. Blessings
Nice blog! I wish I had more time to read – there are so many creative and talented writers in the world! Sadly, I’m NOT one of them 🙁
