(Rachel speaking, dramatically, emphatically).
“I am particular about how I drink my hot chocolate. There are rules to follow.
First, it must be in a cute mug, NOT styrofoam (this is an actual, unretouched photo above, of her favorite mug. It was a picture I found on Ebay because I was too lazy to stop writing to go and take my own picture of HER mug. The internet is amazing.).
Second, it cannot be drunk out of a straw!
Third, it must be sipped s l o w l y, not chugged.
Fourth, it HAS to have marshmellows.
Preferably (fifth) it’s best with International Delight French Vanilla added.”
Nothing wrong with a kid who knows what she likes :).
Mmm. Strangly I am craving chocolate… of the hot variety.
I agree with the cute mug. I prefer my HUGE cappucino mug that is waiting to be glued back together. I think it’s a lost cause though.
RIP dear mug.
Marnie
the marshmallows get stuck on the hubbys mustashe ….
We LOVE Stephen’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa… and it comes in flavors (ie. chocolate rasberry, Irish Creme, Milk chocolate, Orange creme etc)
Same company makes Pacific Chai Tea, too
Oh! I’m just a caloric (or is that choleric today?) personality today
(my word verification told me where I could put it too, Heck if everybody leaves blogger we’ll miss out on all those fun WV messages!)
OMG, I could have lived without reading about all the flavors of hot cocoa. Chocolate Rasberry??!! AUUUGGGGHHHH. My blood sugar dropped just reading it.
I like Whiskey.
lol!:)
my son only drinks hot chocolate with a spoon–he never puts his lips on the cup!
Hey – the cup is just way cool – so fun. I guess I have to start shopping at Ebay *grin*.
Never thought about adding coffee creamer to Hot Chocolate :).
There are some things that deserve particulars. Hot chocolate is one of them.
Great, I feel so unrefined in my enjoyment of hot chocolate now… I really need to start developing some food enjoyment rules of my own.
Okay, Robin. Coffee, ice cream, and then….hot chocolate???? You’re killing me! I love what you said in your last post: “I accidentally had a bowl of Breyers Oreo.” A chocolate chip cookie just jumped into my mouth while I was typing this comment!
You’ll have to stop by my site today. I left you a present 😉
She knows where she’s headed in life!
we al have food quirks — food on the plate, cannot touch another food group?
Can’t wait to find out how she drinks Coffee when she’s older.
That’s too funny! Now, I couldn’t possibly survive without International Delight for my coffee.
But hot cocoa??
I feel a new vice coming on…
Marnie, sending superglue. Favorite mugs don’t go down without a fight.
Pamela, I have the same problem as your hubby (have you seen WT’s pic of me?). Never heard of Stephens, so can you PLEASE send some samples? 🙂
CC…..yuuuummmmmmmmm!
WT…well, that would definitely add a kick to it…don’t think I’ll be testing it on Rach, tho.
Malissa, sounds like your son is starting his “rules” early :).
Iris, I have no idea where Rachel got this stuff…ummmm, I’m not particular or anything O:).
Heather, yeah, you get us ;).
James, after reading about your date w/Lily, I think you’ve got more than enough imagination to come up with a few measly rules….!
Susan, I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY PICKED UP ON THAT! LOL. Somehow it’s fitting that it’s you :). And THANKS for my “present”…deliciouso!
LCO…I think she has that rule, too.
Karmyn….shhhhh, we’re creating a monster (3 of them…).
Kelly, when we come to visit, you’ll be “ready” for Rachel’s HC! It’s kind of like when peanut butter and chocolate came together for Reese’s, I guess.
I have to say I totally agree with her ON.EVERY.STEP! There are rules that must be obeyed!
Sounds delicious!
I -must- have that mug!*said in my best Shatner*
Yup, you gotta love a girl who knows what she wants. As I said on another blog today, mine made a teary decision over hair clips today. *insert sigh, eye rolling, and general belly aching here*
