We’re packin’ a picnic and headed here 🙂.
This is what we discovered last time.
Man…this is what my kids looked like last time:
I cannot believe we haven’t gone back since 2005. It’s been waaaaaaaay too long.
My husband will NEVAH believe I did this without him (or at a minimum, at his suggestion). I like to keep him guessing that way. The enigma, complicated woman thing…;).
Shazaaam! This is just what the doctor ordered! Hopefully, we’ll get a few new pictures in.
Neat!
My parents are planning a move to the Nashville area to enjoy easy retirement in about four years. They’re planning on visiting all the various natural wonders of the state, as well as some surrounding states, and spending a lot time fishing too. I figure I’ll have to visit them often as an excuse to explore places like those too, seeing as how they’re not terribly abundant here in Southern California.
Great picture, they sure have grown, haven’t they?
Oh, I hope you take a picture with the kids posed JUST LIKE THAT so you can compare (and so we can see, too). What wonderful memories they will have 🙂
Have fun!!
I think its great fun re-visiting places and seeing if anything has changed so will look forward to some more photos.
That looks like fun! I need a getaway one of these days!!
As a writer, Robin is fine!
She conjures a limerick divine!
She won over Pamela,
‘Cause they don’t give a damn -ela
If she puts way too many syllables into the last really important line!!
I enjoyed your limericks and thanks for visiting the blog!! 😉
What a great place to go for the day!!! I hope you have/had a good time….get a picture of the kids in the eXACT same spot to compare.
James, Actually, we’ve never been to Nashville (it’s about 2 hours away), but I imagine there’s more to do there than here (city-wise). If you get close to Chattanooga, I can point you in a dozen directions for exploring :).
Chris, it was MUCH earlier in the season, so although BEAUTIFUL, not as colorful. That just means we have to go back…SOON!
Mert, yes ma’am!
Susan, I was missing one of the kids but added the dog :/. And, wouldn’t you know it, I waited til AFTER they played in the creek so it’s not quite (ahem) like it was back then.
Claudia, Tennessee is a nice place to visit on your way to Florida ;).
Ahhh, Wendy…before I say it, you KNOW I love it! Just wish I had it in me to limerick you back…next time ;).
Karmyn, it was magical :). I screwed up their placement, Rachel had dunked her head and Thomas wasn’t there :/….but at least it’s them…on the bridge.
More soon…..
My dyslexia was working just fine today and I read it, “the enema, complicated woman thing.”
WhaaaaaT?
Swampwitch? She and her dyslexia.
Who douche think she is anyway?
snicker, giggle, ha ha ha ha.
hey.. that place looks green and peaceful heavenly
Swampy, lolololololol ;).
Pamela, more lolololol :D.
