We have an hour to kill while we wait for the first leg of our three-flight trip home, so I’m pretty thankful for free airport wi-fi…have I mentioned I H.A.T.E. to fly :/??  Writing will help me not think about it.

Since we knew the Fun Monday theme in advance, I had planned on posting mine during layovers; somehow, it never worked out.  Since I had signed up as a participant and had already taken the pictures, I’m posting it now.  The funnest part for me is since I’ve procrastinated, I’m showing you ALL my "front door" views for the past week :).

I doubt anyone’s still checkin’ in for FM posts, but Kerith asked (thanks, sweets) and see the first two paragraphs for additional explanation.

As hostess for this week’s Fun Monday, Pamela wanted

to see what you see on any given morning this week; from somewhere very near where you live. Front porch, back porch, down the street, around the corner. Just makes sure it’s your neighborhood. Post a photo that will send me to the travel agent to book a weekend at your local Bed & Breakfast

On Saturday, this was my view (very much like my original "View" post from January).  If you happen to check out the old link, you might notice the porch swing moved from one end to the other and the floor decking is now slate GRAY instead of blue.

But on Monday?  THIS Monday?  This was my "front door" view–

Second floor of El Convento, an amazing, renovated 17th century convent in Old San Juan.  Had we know when we were planning how much there was to see and do in Old San Juan, we would have added another day to our trip there–one night was NOT enough!

That was Monday….this is the rest of the week–

And just for kicks, this was my "front door view" as often as possible…:D
