Meet one of the newest additions to our family…and she? he? is one of two lionhead rabbits my youngest received as a Christmas gift as a joke? payback for childhood pranks? from his grandparents.
We’re still looking for a name–any ideas?

How about Soot or Midnight or Blackie or Licorice or I don’t know I’m all out of suggestions. For your sake I hope it’s not 1 male and 1 female! Yikes!
Happy WW!
Perhaps the name is right there behind him/her. What about…”Snicket.”
OMG that is the cutest thing ever! How about Vinegar? (I don’t know why!)
cute! 🙂
btw, just joined WW 🙂
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Awwww…..so cute!!
How about Dusty…LOL!!
Oh my gosh! That’s a hilarious gift! LOL!
Since they’re lionhead rabbits you could name one Leo…and the other one…Cleo? Lionel? Lambert? (You know, like Lambert the sheepish lion…) My hubby saw the photo and the name Hamilton came to mind. He has no explanation for that. Let us know what you choose! I promise not to be offended if you don’t pick any of ours. 🙂
Midnight, Ebony, Hitam (Indonesian for black pronounced HEE-tum), Fred and Wilma…I will have to check back to see what their names turn out to be.
Maybe you can give the Grandparents guinea pigs on Grandparents Day (September 7th), or baby bunnies if it to be a boy and girl bunny.
How cute ! Apparently you well survived the festivities, lol !
Olive Oyl if hes a girl or Ollie if shes a boy!
This one looks like velvet, which makes me think of that wonderful bunny story, The Velveteen Rabbit. So I’d go for Velvet (and Velour?)
Awww.how cute is that!!! 🙂
Here’s mine for this week!
Wordless
Enjoy the rest of the Holidays!
Very Cute! (I’m not letting my daughter see THIS picture, lol) Happy WW and Happy New Year!
Ohh that is soo cute..I cant really think of a name so I’m no help..lol..
Liza
Love the bunny but I’m horrible at naming critters. He’d end up licorice or pepper or blackie . . .
Dustbin. Very cute.
I hope it’s a SHE!! WHat a cutie!
I like Black Jack… assuming it’s a male.
Too cute! I’m at a loss for a good name. I’ll have to think about it!
GHEEEEE!!! I want one!! BTW…you must must must check out princesscarlotta.blogspot.com I think they must be related…such cuteness has no other explanation!!
Now…for a name….I’m going with the obvious…FLUFFY!! Fluffy bunny!! El Fluffo, sir (or miss) fluffalot. But of course, Fluffy could be a nickname too… Happy Christmas!!
How about Lil’ Coal. As in a lump of coal in my stocking. Because cute as he/she is, we know as moms it will be us that the care of furry cute beast will fall too.
happy ww!
Midnight would be my suggestion.
How’d he score 2?

Happy WW!!
Great picture as well as the one of the two of them in the preceding post. Well since they are Christmas bunnies, how about Frankincense and Myrrh for their names? Hope you had a merry Christmas.
Would love to see the other one, too. You oughta hope it’s not a boy and a girl – otherwise you’ll have lots of cute little bunnies running around the place! LOL
cute bunny!!! assuming bunny is out of the question…after watching frosty WAY too many times, my first thought was “oatmeal” 😉
critters in our house get names like pepper (the gerbil), goldie (the goldfish) or doggie the dog….so there ya go 😉
OK, GUYS…LOVE ‘EM…LOVE.THEM.!
A lot of these suggestions Stephen won’t “get”; he’s only 10. But me? Hilarious! Some of you think along the lines I do, others are waaaaay outside the box.
Stephen hasn’t yet checked ’em out–we’ve had company and been on the go since I posted the question. I told him some great ideas have found their way to my blog, so I’ll letcha know what he decides. I can tell ya he’s pretty settled on “Pippin” for one of them (“Pip” for short), that idea from his big sis who always said if SHE ever got a rabbit, that’s what she’d want to name it.
Stay tuned….and THANKS for chiming in :).
It’s not good to name creatures that you plan to eat…but if you must call it something, how about FRANKENBUN.
You are planning to slaughter it aren’t you?
the bunny is darling! who is gonna clean up the darling poops?
Min, you only like your rabbits one way, don’t you…d.e.a.d.!
Acaligurl, ummm…that’s a family affair :/.
