Laura’s challenge for "15 Words or Less Poems" today is an everyday sight for most Americans. Why don’t you try your hand at these short works? It takes just a few minutes when you know words are limited…and in my case, three ideas popped in my head in an instant :).
Which greatly disrupts my digestion
And causes mass-traffic congestion!
Yellow shouts a loud "OH NOOOOO!!
Yielding order, causing strife
Quietly, give direction
Keeping safe each intersection.
I especially love that the first one has 5 words per line – for some reason it just seemed right.
Boy! You’re good at this! I’ll see what I can come up with. I liked the 5 words per line thing, too – I’m in to symmetry.
