The Nekked Lizards, as the first couple to host Fun Monday, kept the theme simple: "FIVE PICTURES – FIVE WORDS PER PICTURE–Any 5 (FIVE) pictures, any subject, and any 5 (FIVE) words to describe and/or explain each picture."
I threw a couple of darts, skated through my photo files, and came up with a VERY random selection of photographs.
Subject: Learn from our omission: the ONLY family portrait from our Yellowstone/Grand Teton family vacation (July 2007)
Fantastic memories last a lifetime
Subject: The first photograph taken with my new camera (October 2007)
Subject: For us, the road to everywhere
Subject: Most "interesting" white elephant gift at our adult Sunday School class Christmas party
Posing Pouch? It’s for MEN??!!
Subject: Birds, not on a wire
Be sure to visit Nekked Lizard Adventures for more 5 for 5!
{blushing} What can be done with candy necklesses and at church to boot. Must be a fun ladies group. Is one of your game who can get the pastor/prist to blush first.

(oh, wait. someone said that already. tough. i’m saying it again!)
These are great~ I remember reading about that holiday. Like others have said you got the perfect caption for your daughter’s photo. The birds are having a good twitter!
I was really hoping for a male super model….I have my dollar bills for the ready, and no one showed up?!!!

Oh, my….number 4. ‘Nuff said.
Love the picture of your daughter. What a beauty.
That posing pouch!! *falls about laughing*
Excellent pictures the posing pouch cracked me up!
Lovely picture of your daughter, she has the most incredible eyes.
As if the “posing pouch” weren’t funny enough – there’s NUTRITION INFORMATION!!!!
Your girl – already beautiful.
Snap more pictures – we have very few family photographs because I hate having my picture taken. And yet, I want someone to look at them in the future and know that I was there…
Love them all but that beautiful doll with the hardware in her mouth is my favorite.
If you’re ever in the Tetons again, travel south a few miles for a rip-roarin’ time at Swampy’s Place.
Quite the fun variety of 5’s Robin! Have a great Monday.
Family shots are always best.
Penny, Did you click the pic? THEN, you would REALLY blush! And…….the party was COUPLES! Yes ma’am…tons of laughter!
Alison, thanks…it has dual meaning, yes?
Gattina, they captured my attention, that’s for sure.

AOJ, ISN’T THAT NAME INSANE????
Alix, thank you…you should see her eyes in person–they constantly “change” color!
Sayre, yeah, like I’m sure you’re checking the nutritional values IF you’re going to eat that thing…YIKES!!!

I love this challenge and enjoyed your photos … (my favorite is the last one) … and wish I’d thought of the idea of ‘adding a context’ for each photo myself ;–)
Have a marvelous Monday!
Hugs and blessings,
I see your “before” shot of my eggs. haha Great blog. Love the Antigua pics. Wish I were there right now.
As always, you did a great job with this!
I love that last one, did you do it with the same camera as the one of your daughter?
I answered your question on my blog in a comment, that way everybody gets the explanation! Thanks for visiting me!
Storyteller, the pictures might paint a thousand words, but for me, I thought they needed a tiny bit more ‘splainin’ :).
Tim, you and me both!
Thanks, Beckie. It was fun, huh?
Jientje, yes, about two months later.
My goodness is your daughter EVER beautiful!! I see a modelling career in her future for sure. My firt two children would always get the colored elastics on their braces too. Not my youngest though. No way.
Wonderful post! You have a beautiful family!!!!!
Cool bridge photo – awesome! And a posing pouch?? WOW!
Great pictures!!! Great family photo!!! =)
Okay…I can’t get over someone taking the candy “Posing Pouch” to a adult Sunday School class Christmas party!!! OMG!!!! =) lol
That cracks me up! Did anyone get offended???
Fab pictures. I love the one of your daughter and what you wrote, and the posing pouch is just hilarious.
Posing Pouch??? And this was for an adult Sunday School party???? Wow!
Great pics. Love the one of your daughter!
The Sunday School gift was quite a doozy! And your other photos are so pretty! Your daughter is beautiful!!
Now THAT’S an interesting white elephant table item. lol
Great pictures and comments to go with them! Thanks for sharing!
Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. At first I thought it was a beaded thong, but OH MY Gosh!!
You have a very lovely family, Robin.
That covered bridge photo is lovely.
better one portrait than none. And better that you took a real family vacation, too.
Excuse me … posing what? Are you saying an elephant posed in that?
Posing Pouch? Seriously, what is that? This was at our Sunday School class’s Christmas party? Seriously?!! Never mind. I just clicked on the picture itself and now I know for sure what it is. Hubby and I missed the Christmas party last year. If there were posing pouches for display, what else did they have there? Okay, another subject; never mind.
On another note, your daughter is so beautiful!! I love the birds of a feather picture. It’s pretty neat.
Good job Robin, you certainly have selected a wide range of pictures from beautiful to sentimental to hilarious. You are right, “Fantastic memories last a lifetime,” with or without pictures.
Great job, Robin. You do know, don’t you, that pigeons aren’t really birds, right? They’re just rats with wings…lol.
Your Sunday school seems very liberal!
This is a great 5×5 post. I like that you included the nutritional informarion, just in case.
Wonderful pictures. Are the braces off now?
Especially appreciated the view from the covered bridge–has the makings of a great post. Exactly what is the rest of the story?
What variety of pictures there. 😀 Though, I have to admit on that last picture I keep thinking “birds of a feather – poop!” LOL
How is the pose performed once the pouch is in place? Are there instructions? Where can I get one? – for someone else of course, not me. Thanks for coming by and participating. NLM
Just a beautiful young lady!
sticking to fives-
Patience
Hi Robin! Great pics-all of these and your yellow ones too!
OMG! I am shocked at the white elephant gift in a sunday school! Too funny! I think my hubby would like that. He just might have to find a way to eat the candy himself. 🙂
Dang it ate my comment. 🙁
Candy underwear – church – funny! Hubby would want and would get a crick in his neck from having to eat them himself.
I am lazy, repeated short version. 🙂
ROFL! Posing Pouch… and it’s only 40 calories! Hmmm… forgot to look for the serving size! Bwahahahaha!!
That was a white elephant for Sunday School??
Love the pictures. I have a similar one of birds like that except it is 10 eagles.
