That’s my submission for this week’s Friday’s 40…how ’bout yours? (And remember, your posts don’t have to be a literal interpretation of the photograph…abstract could go pretty doggone deep or humorous on this one!)

Oh that is classic Robin! A poem that says “smacked that sucker flat.” I love it!
Oh Nice! God is watching you girl! Be nice to his critters! Karisma is watching too!
Very witty, Robin
ROTFLMAO *snort*
Smack! LOL, did you know there is always a spider within 3 feet of you? AT ALL TIMES! Yuck.
I just love it! I too took a humerous turn. 🙂
Robert, hehe 🙂
Karisma, outside, I leave ’em alone; inside? they’d better stay outta sight!
Molly, why thank you :).
iPost, well then, my work here is done!
Carrie, I will never sleep again. Curse you!
Ewwww spiders!! Ack *runs screaming from the room*
I love your little ditty. I did not wax poetic today, but a bit nostalgic instead.
Mine will be posted tonight…
Yours was so cute… Smack that bug!
3 feet? I thought there was always a spider within 6 feet of you. Yeeech!
That is one ugly spider. But a great poem.
HA! Robin…I needed a GOOD laugh! You crack me up!!!!!!!
Ok, I stuck to the rules this time!!! 🙂
I like yours, how you used the itsy-bitsy. And I squish mine with my shoe too!
LOL I love it! brought out a very appreciated little chuckle. I am thinking of teaching it to my 4 year old! hehe. Thanks!
I tend to make it a personal goal to never go to blogs that show pics of spiders. But your poem about killing it makes me forgive you. I hope you did kill it. I can’t believe that you pick those suckers up to throw them! I scream, and cry and make my kids kill them and remove the dead body.
I love it, I’d never have gotten close enough to smack it though, I’d have been cowering in the corner!
Oh no! I missed this week but I’ll be back next! LOVED your poem and pic!
Little Miss Robin
Sat on a Bobbin
Eatin’ her curds and whey…
Along came a spider
And sat down beside her
So the beat the hell out of it with her shoe.
Thank y’all for sharing your thoughts! I soooo wish you’d play along this week! 🙂
