Antique Belleek china, 2009 Valentine Tea Party, Noni's house.
This simple monochromatic grouping is stunning to me. Delicate,
fragile and luminescent, its beauty is concealed in this:
all three pieces were gifts to my mother-in-law from her best friend,
originally owned by her friend's mother.

Irish Belleek? My Mom used to collect it. I have one lovely little dish. I used to have an owl vase, but my former cat broke it. I was SOOO mad at him. Belleek is so beautiful.
I love Belleek, too. My mother’s parents were from Ireland, so she had a whole China cabinet full of it. After my mother passed away, my sisters and I divided it up. I treasure my collection and have it displayed in my mother’s China cabinet in my home.
When I was a teenager, my mother purchased for me a Belleek vase in Ireland and gave it to me for Christmas. It is stunning. I’ve searched high and low to find complimentary pieces, but have never seen anything like it.
I’m planning to show some of my Belleek collection on my blog around St. Patrick’s Day. Thanks for showing us these 3 beauties and the precious story behind them.

It is very lovely 🙂
That picture is so lovely. It made me relaxed just looking at it. It also made me wish I lived in Europe. LOL.
I love the light pink and cream tones. Perfect.
Happy WW!
Beautiful! 🙂 I’d love a set like that!
pretty… I’d break it tho, so delicate.
Wow ! how romantic !
Real porcelain is a beautiful sight, makes a laughing stock of the cheaper imitation, chalky stuff. Well snapped! Happy WW! 🙂
Belleek is lovely. It is so stunningly simple in design, texture, color… I really like it. I think a new Belleek outlet was built close to our airport recently. I’ll have to check it out.
