In the midst of all the uncertainty in our world today, I am confident of one thing: we can have peace.
It’s not tied to anything the medical or scientific community can offer, like finding a vaccine to prevent COVID19 or detailed explanations, and it’s certainly not rooted in political systems or people. Their superpower is stirring up chaos and confusion it would seem.
But as a woman of faith, I’m convinced God’s peace can bring the calm and assurance our heart desperately needs, even when you have a wandering, ragamuffin kind of faith. I love this passage in John that tells us so:
And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world! ~ John 16:33 TPT
His peace is still available to us, now, today, and always, and it will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:7). His peace isn’t just waiting for us when this is over. It’s available right now. In these difficult times we need to grab hold of it and live in it more than ever.
However this pandemic has affected your home and your heart, fear is always lurking round the corner ready to pounce and bring us down. Sometimes it helps to have friends reminding us of the truth of God’s Word, a loving encouragement to help you find the peace that is yours for the taking, and then holding on to it and living in it.
The conversation might just be what helps you remember what you’ve read countless times over but are having a hard time believing these days. This Friday, May 8, 2020 at 1pm EST, I’m joining with some friends — precious women of faith — to share with you what we are doing in our hearts, homes and families to find this much needed peace and calm in the midst of a this sometimes overwhelming and difficult season.
Can’t make it then? No worries! As long as you , you’ll be able to access the replay at your convenience, and you’ll receive a .pdf with key takeaways, scriptures, and prayers from each panelist.
Join us and learn how to replace fear, anxiety, and overwhelm with peace in your homes, your families, and hearts. We’ll also have a LIVE Q & A so our panel members can personally support and encourage you! If you’re able to attend on Friday when it’s live, you’ll be interacting with our panelists and other attendees in real time; our messages are not pre-recorded :).
Our hope for the discussion is to help you learn how to find peace in your heart, mind, home, and family and relationships.
Wanna get to know my co-panelists? I’m linking to their amazing books and sharing their Instagram handles; I know you’re going to love them, their work, and their words, just as much as I do!
