Everyone’s excited in these parts……….first day of school tomorrow:)–thank goodness my kids can’t wait! Clothes are laid out, new school supplies tucked away in bookbags, they already know what they want for lunch. Two middle schoolers and one in 4th (wait a second, I HAVE TWO MIDDLE SCHOOLERS??!). Teachers they hoped for…friends in their classes….life is good :).
And I will be alone in my house for the first time since May :).
Hence the smiles 🙂 🙂 :). Plenty of those to share–really, take one:).
The summer’s been great…………….but me likey quiet time. Twelve hours and counting (not that anyone’s counting).
Ohhhhh I am jealous….just pea green with envy….I have 4 more weeks…..but then Cheeky will be doing the happy back to school dance too!
WOW! Your kids start school early!!! When do they get out for the summer? Around here – they end 2nd week of June and don’t start until end of August (1st of September)….
maybe that is becaue our summer doesn’t really hit until July –
Yeah, it seems early to me? I mean, August still spells S-U-M-M-E-R in my book.

I have two in middle school too. It is very weird. Are all those other moms getting older or is it just me?
Our district staggers the elem. and middle school start times, so I’m kind of enjoying having the elem. by herself in the mornings, then the two older ones alone for the next hour. Of course, I still have two at home so I’ve got a while before I have total quiet. But I’m enjoying some “semi-quiet.”
