Have you ever “re-gifted” anything? If so, what was it and who did you pass it on to?
Yes. A decorative set of candles that I passed along as a cercie to one of my children’s teachers. To name ONE of my re-gifts…:/.
The funniest thing happened at our annual Valentine "Tea" Party this year, though. One of the friends who has attended this party for years gave my daughter a bracelet we had given her about three years ago. Thank goodness Rachel had the maturity and discretion NOT to mention it…or laugh out loud…until everyone was gone. We absolutely LOVED this happening!
Dessert
Name something you need from the store.
Today, nothing. That’s unusual and kind of nice. If we were talking want from the store, well, that’s a whole ‘nother question :).
My father in law loved the blood red too. It was his favorite. But you didn’t ask that, did you? rofl
Happy feasting.
We’re on the same page w/ your soup! Great feast.
I enjoyed your feast!
Blessings~~

My Life as Annie!
the re-gift is just so funny.
I’ve noticed the colors aren’t the same names as when I was a little girl.
In fact nothing is the same.
That is the problem with re-gifting…hoping that the person doesn’t get what was given. Poor Rachel – it might have been funny, but kind of heart-breaking too.
H-A, Well, it’s nice to know IF I ever meet him, we’ll have something in common :).
Braden, Does anyone ever say “Your feast SUCKS monkey brains?”
Pamela, Amen, sistah, amen!
Karmyn, we really have tried to discourage gift-giving at the Tea, so Rachel really doesn’t want anything. No one in our family has “gift-giving” as a love language, which is a GOOD thing, ’cause if there was “one”, they sure would be let down…:/ Rach totally saw the humor.
At least they waited three years before regifting back to you. One year Dillon’s friends re gifted our gift to him back to Dillon-their birthdays are 19 days apart!
