Oh, my, Green Hairnet…you just beat Pamela and ME2 in the pun(ny) department ;).
Karmyn, Did I really learn my lesson if I ever considered it???
Claudia & Sabrina, this is one of the best places in town…I resisted going there for a year and a half because of the price tag $$$$. BUT, after bad cut after bad cut (and my hair’s not that difficult to manage :/) and not being able to get the right color, I finally tried it. Yeah, they have some wild stuff going on (I was serious about the pink and blue hair, sometimes on one head!), but my stylist is VERY conservative…she wouldn’t let me go wild if I begged. Well, she probably would, but not without a fight (hehe).
LCO…hmmmm, me with a mohawk…I cannot even imagine it…spikes, either, for that matter. Gosh, I wish I had the guts sometimes…:O)
Oh heck Robin.. that was me.
I’m the super hero..
For awhile I was the Hot Flash. She’s (hopefully) permanently retired… so the Green Hairnet has risen to take her place
ROTFL! Your story is TOO funny. I actually used to perm my hair (or get perms) and I have quite wavy (mostly curly these days) hair. I have NO idea what I was thinking. That was definitely the era of poodle hair! We have a family picture and my mom, sister, and I ALL have poodle hair! We totally laugh at it now.
Fear of the unknown. That’s my problem with it.I’m very picky about my do, and if I don’t like the way it looks it bothers me very much and I will go to great lengths to fix it. I’d shave my head if I had to to fix a bad do. You would be a lot braver than me, gong into the unknown. 😉
Dianne, mine was wavy, too; now, with a little gel, I can “scrunch” mine to look permed, so why didn’t anyone tell me that 20 years ago???
Susan, you KNOW me all too well. I mean, it’s worth it to “take one” for the blog, right? R I G H T…;).
MaryMert, And that, my dear, is what’s keeping me from diving in again. Well, fear of the unknown and what happened the last time I was a “hair model”…!
I think it’s because they made more money off of perms than gel!
After years of not blow drying my hair, there is no such thing as straight for me any more. It’s just wild and wavy and even has corkscrews underneath – doin’ its own thang! Saves me time, since it’s self-styling. 😀
You need a SUPER HAIRO name to save us all from another installment of that!
HA!!!! Too funny. At least you’ve learned your lesson.
hahah!! They want you!! Of course, I wouldn’t be tempted from looking at the hair chop on their model.
LMAO!! “Hair Benders”? Are they for real?
Run away! You don’t have to get sucked in — do you want the stylist to suggest purple spike? or a mohawk? Run Robin, Run!

My first thought was, “They’d give me some bizarre do just to advertise their services.” My next thought was, “Anything would be an improvement!”

Carol, wouldn’t it be fun to take a ride on the wild side, though??? You don’t need no improvin’…!
Pamela, silly girl, I knew that ;)!
