A red-streaked tongue,
Lingering remnants of sticky and sweet–
Bubbles and gum aren’t the only rewards.
Have you participated in Friday’s 40-or-less Photo Challenge yet? Oooo, I hope you will! It’s not too late to write your own response to the photo above–and it doesn’t have to be a poem! (Click the badge for details.)
Be sure and visit as many Friday’s 40 folks as you can–it’s always a treat to read how others interpret the same image.
(I’ll be traveling on Friday and out of pocket for the Memorial weekend…I’ll be sure to visit when time permits!)
Have a wonderful long holiday for those in the States, and a wonderful weekend otherwise to the rest of you!

Tammy, I l i k e your take on it…it’s the truth, yes?
Chris, you get HIGH marks, not just for trying!
🙂
I like yours!
I had forgotten about the red-streaked tounge! I always had one.
