And I wish I didn’t now – but glad I do. If that makes any sense. It’s so easy to be ignorant; complaining about gas going up a quarter, when in other parts of the world, there are children who would kill for a percent of what we have.
Those are someone’s children.
It’s amazing how we pursue consumerism in this age when we know so much.
Sobering. Thought-provoking. Guilt-producing.
But it does reinforce our decision to shop at Goodwill as much as possible. Although the items were originally made at a cost, it feels like we’re not contributing as directly to this issue.
