sand and shells…
sunsets and sunburned shoulders…
crashing waves and screeching gulls…
seafood and see! food!!…
family and friends…
familiarity and tradition…
nothing and everything….
…and alligators.
Always the allies :).

And I meant it about the ‘gators–long time readers will remember my close encounter of the funnest kind:
You got CRAZY close to that gator. I live in FL and I don’t even get that close to ponds at apartment buildings!
Hey! I do remember that gator. Don’t go looking him up again! And have a great time!
enjoy your vaca Robin. I’ll miss you on twitter 😉
I’ve stumbled over here from, I think, Rocks in My Dryer, and, as a brand new blogger, I can tell I’m going to learn a lot from you.
As soon as I saw that gator I thought, “Hey, that looks like Kiawah!” and it is! That is one of my favorite places in the entire world. We’ve been there four times for spring break, but didn’t get there this year. You are so lucky! Have a wonderful time, and I will look for lots more pictures of Kiawah this week.
Oh wow. Have SO much fun!!!
have fun and stay away from live alligators!!!
Catch some rays for me! (Have fun and enjoy yourselves.)
Krissi, w h a t??? They’re harmless, right??
Karisma, I haven’t seen him yet…then again, I haven’t looked yet!
Monica, I AM checking in…hence, my replies this a.m. But Twitter? Steering clear this week. 🙂
Shelley, if I only had my “other” camera. It’s far, far away, but I’ll try to get some decent with the point and shoot. Doesn’t Kiawah just get in your blood??
Thanks Jo-Lynne and Elena Jane.
Shalee, I’ll be happy to!
🙂
Oooh – another foot pic. Love it! How come my feet keep getting pudgier and yours never do???
Must be the camera;)
