You make bath time lots of fun
Rubber Ducky, I’m awfully fond of you.
Rubber Ducky, joys of joys
When I squeak you, you make noise
Rubber Ducky, you’re my very best friend, it’s true!
Forgive me if this song lodges itself in your brain…! Can’t get to most of my photos right now, but this archived shot made me smile.
As did the grossness disgustingness humiliation embarrassment insanity of my night tonight. Story…and I’m afraid pictures…tomorrow.

You’re right that is now stuck in my mind!
Great photo. Have a great WW.
Just wanted to pop in to say hello and that I’m home from Switzerland. Hope to “talk” soon!
Cute pic, by the way. And I loved yesterday’s post about your daughter!
Oh dear…must return tomorrow. Why is it that we can’t look away from a train wreck?
A blue ducky? I haven’t seen one before. Have a wonderful WW! 🙂
yes, thank you. I’ve got Ernie singing in my head now.
🙂
Happy WW.
Ahh how relaxing. Happy WW!
Wait a minute – it’s supposed to be WORDLESS Wednesday.
Now I’ve got to go find Ernie singing this on Youtube – oh, there he is
And of course, if you are feeling more active, it’s Do De Duck duck duck
Thanks
Where did you find a blue rubber ducky? All of mine are yellow!
Ahhh…wish I were soaking in a hot bath right now! Your pic makes me feel a bit more sane today…despite the song. :O)
Poor rubber ducky !
Are you keeping him in the freezer?
He’s so cold, he’s turned blue.
Shame on you !
s’all good. I like Ernie.
I love that he’s blue!
Paula, good gravy…I think I might be writing THREE posts today then! YIKES!
Architect, good luck with that :).

Shelly, WELCOME HOME!!!
iPost, it’s pretty much a train wreck, alright. :/
Joe, heeeey! Long time, no see! And now I’ve got you SINGIN’ of all things!
One Mom, WallyWorld :). They had ’em in other colors, too.
Swampy, s w o o n…A POEM! 🙂 You win!!
Natalie, hehe :).
that girl, that’s the only reason he HAD to come home with me :).
I loved Bert & Ernie….back in the day! Had the Sesame Street Record and Bert & Ernie puppets. At age 5 I was true Sesame Street fanatic. Do you remember Cookie Monster’s “C is for Cookie” song? And lovable, furry ol’ Grover? Aaaaahhh……..takes me back.
I still have the yellow rubber duckie from my childhood. Years ago, I took a picture of it and had it laminated. It’s on the wall in the kids’ bathroom, and it brings a smile to my face every time I’m in there.
My earliest memory of my relationship with my favorite uncle involves that duck. He would playfully tease me by claiming that it was his. I knew he was kidding, but the back-and-forth was too much fun for either of us to resist.
To this day, we laugh about it every time we speak. Who would have thought that a silly little toy would have such resonance.
(I really like it in blue, btw. Such a peaceful color!)
