"Time Flies", spotted at Winder Binder Gallery, one of Chattanooga's most eclectic shopping destinations. Is it art or just a clock? Truly, nothing in this gallery could be characterized "just as" anything! Winder Binder is a must-see the next time you visit the Tennessee Valley!
Your turn: During the past year, how have you witnessed the speed of time?
What a great clock! Did you buy it? 😀
Dianne,
Ummm, no, but I wanted to. I wanted to buy LOTS of things that day but had left my purse behind. Blessing or curse? 🙂
Very funny! But not as funny as its price tag.
Gave you a stumble.
What a great find! Funky but not scary so!
Good question. Some things aren’t meant to be, I suppose. But you got on film, er, digital file bits.
Great picture. Adorable clock!
I have seen time fly in my life this past year, when my oldest niece began college. I swear it was just yesterday that she was watching Barney and calling hot dog weiners “newies”. :o(
Happy WW!
You would not have believed how large that photo appeared in my blog reader. It was huge! 😀 Time flew by as my youngest daughter gave me the news that she was pregnant. Fortunately she is 21 years old. But I have now flown into the ranks of a grandmother! I am 51 though so not too young for it. But my little baby is no longer a little girl.
Great clock! Time flew for me this year as I went from having 2 in diapers to now having 2 potty trained and only one in diapers…only one in diapers… a first for me in almost 3 years!!!
Too adorable!! I want one!!
Time flew as I watched my one year old go from saying words to full sentences. But how fun it is!!
I love that clock! Did you buy it? It seems to me that as soon as I became a parent 7 and a half years ago the Fast Forward button was pushed down indefinitely.
But specifically this year because I have a 14 month old. She has changed so fast and it is amazing to me how much life changes in just one year.
Yes I have, now that I have kids, where does it go
That is really neat!
Time is flying for me. My “baby” is almost 3 and my older baby started Kindergarten. Of course, I’m homeschooling him, but still! They are growing up way too fast!
I will have to check out this place, as I often go through Chattanooga. Great photo!
Watching my girls grow and mature everyday makes me realize how fast time flies.
What an excellent clock!
Happy WW: http://tinyurl.com/7yd4×7
Our two oldest daughters would love that clock. This past year went by too fast. With five kids it seems like they were just born. Thanks for sharing.
How do you make time stop flying? This last year has been a whirlwind! We moved from Indonesia to Germany, my oldest turned 16 and sometime when I wasn’t looking grew taller than me. What happened?
Too cute!!! Happy WW and have a great new year.
I love it – I want one NOW!! lol Happy New Year, Judith
I haven’t really witnessed time flying, but I’ve certainly felt it whizzing by.
Can’t believe another year has gone by.
I love that alarm clock!
Very cool clock. Love it!
Like all other moms… I saw time fly when I sent my last child to Kindergarten. No babies at home…sigh.
What a hoot! I bet it ticks loudly…
I LOVE IT. And, yes…time just whooshes by me. With grandkids, it seems to act like the speed of light because they are growing up so fast.
I’ll have to go to our “Haggle of Vendors” and photo the “Pig with Wings” there. It’s a pink piggy bank…”When Pigs Fly.”
Happy Happy New Year.
Eat your Black-Eyed Peas, Missy.
Happy New Year! Hope your holidays were fabulous!
neat find!
What a great find! I witness how time flies on a daily basis! But seriously, to see my youngest brother, who I used to take care of, become a daddy this year, really struck me hard. 🙂
We have A Year In Time posted, which I believe you’ll enjoy… Happy New Year!!
oh my goodness that is a cool clock.
i think i have witnessed time fly with the past six month contract of working in hawaii, seemed like we were never there.
then there is the fact that my life as a single person and no kids was just yesterday and some how i woke up this morning with four kids and a husband, where did the time go?
Your title reminds me of the old joke:
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana. 🙂
This year, I’ve noticed the passage of time in my Wendy. (Kids are the obvious answer, aren’t they??) At the beginning of last year, she was 15 months old, barely talking at all, and still very clingy. (Oh, and still taking two naps a day – I miss THOSE days.)
Now she’s a great big 27-month old, who grows more independent every day. We carry on full conversations, she follows directions pretty well, and she can usually explain to me what she’s thinking or doing. Sometimes I miss that tiny, snuggly baby, but I LOVE the charming toddler that has taken her place!
It really is true. Time flies by way too quickly, especially when watching your kids grow up.
Happy New Year!
ohhhh I want that clock!
I am so glad 2008 is over! It has been a rough year at our household!
Yes, when we look at our son. He’s now 16 years old, 6 ft 5 inches and wears a size 15 shoe. And he’s still growing.
I’m not sure when that moustache started but I definitely see it now.
Each year, each month, each day goes faster and faster! It’s almost scary!
Happy New Year! Wishing 2009 brings you much joy!
-sandy toes
It seems to me that once your children start school the years fly by faster than ever!!
Happy New Year.
My boys–they are getting taller while I think I’m getting the shrink–in height, that is. Certainly not anywhere else. A bone density test says I’m fine. But their pants at highwater level say I’m shorter.
Sigh.
So cute! Love it!
I have witnessed the speed of time through my baby…born in February, who is now almost a year old! Whew!
Happy New Year…
My new SPEAR Challenge for 2009 is NO PLASTIC! You in?
Also, did you give me a stumble today?
Wow! My site meter is on fire and smokin’.
