A gift my mother-in-law received close to 50 years ago; she's pictured at right holding it new during her bridal shower. It's the pot my father-in-law insists makes perfect popcorn every time. I kinda think the popcorn perfection has more to do with love than taste :).
More Wordless Wednesday
What a great WW. I like the contrast.

Love always makes things taste better, doesn’t it?
I love this photo. I feel like I’ve gone back in time, thanks to you. May we all have similar opportunities to take pictures like this. They’re little rectangular treasures.
Have a little piece of good news over at my place that may bring a smile your way.
maybe … maybe.
much more romantic that a bag/this side up

Very cool post…thanks for sharing!
Such an awesome post. I love the juxtaposition of the photo and the pot. It’s like living history.
Love is that special ingredient isn’t it?! Wonderful.
Very clever…and sweet too.
Isn’t it wonderful to have a piece of family history like that? What makes it extra special is the photo of your mother – in- law holding it at her shower! This is truly special.
Happy WW!
I love it. My mum/dad still use their original pots and pans except its in the camping tub. I hope to inherit them someday….they just cook things better!
Obviously that pot is made of better stuff than the pots you can buy today. I think it is impossible to overestimate the influence of love on the quality of your cooking.
I love treasures like this–they have a legacy.
That is a wonderful shot. I love the contrast of the picture with the actual pot. Very neat. I’m playing this week and my post is up now.
Robin of my two blessings
