When I saw this preview, I laughed until I cried, one of my top five things to do.
Please, Kevin James…please makers of Happy Madison…PLEASE SONY PICTURES–
DO NOT disappoint! Don't let the previews be the funniest part of this movie.
Paul Blart, Mall*Cop…even the title makes me smile :). In case of emergency, he comes in a close second to Jack Bauer, no?
Did it hit you the same way? Or have you seen other good movies? Do tell, please! What do I **need** to see?
OH that does look so funny! I need a funny movie!

I know what you mean . . . the previews look hilarious, but I have a feeling that’s where the hilarity ends. Let me know if you see it.
I took the girls to see “Bedtime Stories” before school started again, and we all loved it. Came out of the theater feeling really good and happy.
And then there’s “Marley and Me” which we all loved, but only because we had read the book. Oh, and because we have a yellow lab just like Marley! 🙂
MamaGingerTree tells me that Slumdog Millionaire is the best movie she’s ever seen. I’m thinking of stealing my husband next week and going.
I can’t wait to see it. The trailer is great and promises lots of laughter!
With Chris and I living on a budget these days, we rarely see movies in the theater anymore. But we may have to make an exception for Kevin.
I saw the preview before “Bedtime Stories,” and I fear the trailer is as good as it gets. I’ll check back, though, after you’ve seen it, and you’ll tell me if it’s worth $10.75.
Dear Robin. Oh you SO KNOW it’s the funniest parts of the movie, that’s why previews suck 🙁
Did you see Hitch with this guy in it? It was SO funny and cute. It’s an all time fave with me 🙂
Those previews ALWAYS spoil he movie these days! I think they show the whole movie in the previews!
I saw the preview for this and it does look funny. Who knows whether it’s just the trailer or the whole movie that’s funny…. different movies hit people in different ways. I loved Hitch too!
I recently just saw Bejamin Button. It was interesting..it was good (I mean..Brad Pitt is in it ) 🙂 There were some cute, funny parts too.. But I am waiting to see Madea goes to Jail! I love the Tyler Perry movies..toooo funny!
I have watched the trailers and I worry the same thing. Kevin James is Hi-lar-i-ous. Love the guy. Loved him on Hitch, loved him on King of Queens. Just super funny. But I’m afraid for this movie.
When you see it, be sure to tell us!
We saw Benjamin Button also, and would highly recommend it. Not funny, but very well acted and a very nice movie.
I have NOT seen previews for this movie! I will go see it. We are fans of Kevin’s.
My daughter went to Yes Man last night and said it was the funniest movie she has ever seen in a theater. She insists that we take a date night and go see it this week.
These previews look hilarious and I have heard some talk over on Twitter that it delivers. I wanna see it too.
You HAVE to see Slumdog Millionaire! Not quite the same genre as Paul Blart but worth every penny. I have my thoughts on it at my blog. happy movie watching.

We saw this Friday night (opening night!) at Beechwood (just a frame of reference for you) and we all agreed (ages 4,8,10,12,38,39,40,42) that it was a good movie. The preview you have above does show lots of the funny parts but the movie had more funny moments than just those. Of course, it helped that one of us (DH) is an ex-REAL cop and we had these older ladies behind us that just kept cracking up all the time. Of course, as with anything else, your humor button may not be activated like ours was!
