It's not easy to take pictures when you're screaming at the top of your lungs….
I was so excited, I couldn't focus…my baby is to the left, the goalie is laid out with NOTHING in his hands, and the ball is nested comfortably just out of the frame to the right…earning my son his first goal of the season and one of two he'd make on Saturday.
I've never seen his dad jump up so quickly and yell quite as loud.
terrific!!!! and you caught it all!! amazing!
How fun is that?!
Nice shot, dude!
WOOHOO!!! Awesome pics! I have the same problem taking pics in situations like that! But yours are great – good for him!
My 4 yr old is starting soccer. Pretty cute stuff!
Awesome! I can’t wait to take pictures of my kids doing their sports things.
…and yet the photos came out perfect! Despite the wild screaming and cheering! Good for him!!! And you! LOL!
Oh, so exciting. I used to play forward on a soccer team. That first goal of the season is so special. And you caught it on camera! He will cherish those photos, even if he refuses to admit it.
There’s nothing like watching the brazillians play on Spanish t.v., the announcers hollering, “Goalie! Goalie! Goalie!” when they score. That was going through my head watching your pictures! There’s nothing like going home with a player who scores. THere’s nothing worse than going home with one who didn’t think he did good enough! Yeah! for option 1.
Those are some mighty fine and mad photog skills Robin!!! Well done! Thanks for sharing and congrats to the Mister!
Love,
Dedra
Hooray!!!! He’s such a studmuffin!!
Alright! Way to go! I can totally see why you were very mummy proud! So you should be! Congratulations on that first goal! Woo hoo!
Way to go! And mom got some great shots, too.
LOVE it! The pictures are all wonderful but the last one combined with your description is priceless.
It was a GREAT way to start the day!
They’re so stinkin’ cute at 4; at 12? They’re stinkin’ cute AND stinky!! 🙂
Trust me, it’s reason to get an SLR if you don’t have one (wish I did back
“then”).
Hopefully NEXT time they’ll be perfecter! lol
Believe it or not, he already admits it…he LOVES it when I blog about him,
ESPECIALLY when there are pics :).
Oy…my older son? When it’s your “Option 2”? We ALL feel his pain!!
Awww, thanks, Dedra :).
I had to smile at “studmuffin”…I use that word, too :).
He actually had two more shots (in addition to his second score); amazing
how much confidence that FIRST goal gives!
Ahhh, thank you, Jane Anne. I was disappointed at my inability to get a
“really good” shot of all that; so your comment is especially nice :).
