{{Revised with a mini-review at the end!!}}

So, if you happen to be a Facebook friend or follow me on Twitter, you know I'm in Chi-town right now. Today, on the spur of the moment, we snagged $90 tickets for "Billy Elliot, The Musical" for $60.  Winner of ten Tonys, the musical should be something to behold, but why do we really wanna see it?

Because it's Cameron's story.

If you're a fan of Modern Family, you understand completely why we **must** see this show.

We tremendously enjoyed the theater experience in Chicago…

I was thoroughly entertained by the musicality and dance talent of the performers…

But it was uncomfortable watching a live performance where middle school students dropped four-letter words (including the f-bomb), gay references and a young girl offered to show her "hoo-hoo". That's NOT what the movie was about, B U T, to me, it detracted greatly from the performance.  Billy Elliot would've been better served without the colorful language, and the thing is, it didn't NEED it.  Character and story were developed fine on their own merit.
