Love this fresh new place Robin!
So you!
May God bless all who gather here and may you find Him moving your heart closer to Him with every word!
Sweet blessings.
Love the change! Happy Birthday (a little early), Sweet Robin! The Lord has allowed life to be quite difficult over the past two years and my relationship with Him has been all the more sweeter. I guess that’s how it works…. and He knows it. With struggle comes a sweet depth you wouldn’t know otherwise. Love you.
I have been so blessed by your writings! God bless YOU in this 50th year, and may you be given a reprieve from struggle and hardship, and may God pour out His mercy and healing balm of JOY and GLADNESS all over you, and may it splatter all over your life , soaking it with the REST and PEACE of Jesus! May your spirit AND your soul be REFRESHED in Him now and always!!
This is my first time stopping by. It just so happens that my bday was this last Wednesday. I read your post on in(courage) today and it reminded me of the last 9 years. The Lord has taken my husband and I on quite the wild ride – from being told I wasn’t having kids, to being a mama to 6 children ages 8 and under… and as many moves to brand new places as we have children – along with many leaps of faith to quit jobs and then wait for God to tell us where to move. There have been some really awful and trying moments, but ultimately it has been amazing to watch God transform me from the inside out. Thanks for sharing your story. I pray you will have a spectacular 50th year, my friend and sister in faith.
Happy Birthday Robin!
May you continue to follow Him and to proclaim of His goodness!
Blessings to you!

Hi Robin! This is my 50th year too! My exact birthday is just a week away on Saturday, March 30th!
Is that your Birthday too! 2012 was an incredibly hard, but also amazing year for me! In January, I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. god took me on an amazing journey that resulted in a lumpectomy and then radiation therapy. After that I ended up having a hysterectomy as my uterus was failing, but not related to the cancer. So, 2013 is my 50th year. A year to celebrate all that God has brought me through and all that I have even blessed with!
Happy 50th Birthday to you as we’ll Robin!
Blessings to you!
Pam Hunt
I like this new look! Calming and it makes me breathe easy. 🙂 Glad for 50 because now we’re friends!
Can’t wait, Robin!! (And I am totally stealing this idea next month!)
In case I didn’t already mention it – – – I love your blog’s new look! Yes!! It’s perfect. And Emily took a great pic. And… just because I gotta say it one more time… HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Stacey,
Thank you! I’m so grateful for your ministry of grace, friend :).
Alisa,
S i g h…don’t we want that depth WITHOUT the struggle?? Dang it… :). But…if we have to endure the “stuff” of life, at least that makes it worth it. Hope to see you sometime when we’re in town??? I think you, me and Bebe could have FUN.
Kennedy,
Your comment reads like a sweet prayer; thank you.
And honestly, my stuff? When I take a look around me, it’s not that big of a deal. Sure, low seasons I’d rather skip, but like Alisa said, there’s depth and beauty just waiting. 🙂
THANK you for stopping by!! lkeller (what a funny name ;).)
Wow…you’ve been on quite the roller coaster but it sounds like one that’s worth everything it’s required of you. Belated birthday greetings to YOU, and I hope 2013 is gentle with you :).
Susan,
Thank you :). YOU have blessed me!
Pam,
WE’RE BIRTHDAY SISTERS!!! Yes, mine’s the 30th (remember when you were 30 on the 30th?? :)).
Oh, hon……..your 2012 makes mine look like a cake walk. Thank you for a sweet dose of perspective that I KNOW but sometimes forget. My sister is a 15 year survivor and that always encourages me when I hear another diagnosis from someone.
You DO have great reason to jubilee with me. Peace, joy and grace to you xo.
Kaitlyn,
Well…*this* won’t remain my design for long but it’s a hint of things to come. THANK you for your kind words :).
Shelly,
Consider me flattered :D. xo
Dana,
Someone on my incourage post told me she celebrated her 50th ALL YEAR! I didn’t keep up with replying to comments over the weekend (but I will), so I can’t recall who right now, but I loved that. So me? I’m celebrating a week; that just means you can tell me HB as many times as you like and I won’t get tired of it ;).
(thank you…your enthusiasm makes ME smile!) 🙂
Sounds fun!!! But I would have nevah thought you to be 50! You wear it well. =)
Yay! Birthday Sisters! Yes! So Sweet!
A Jubilee year of better health and more reasons to praise God! I think I will make a list of 50 things I am thankful for to commemorate this birthday!
Grace and peace and immeasurable joy to you!
Pam
Happy Birthday. 50 is not so bad. Celebrate yur life!!
Very cool! Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!
I too am turning 50 this week. Your week go give-aways is fun. In our home we celebrate BIG birthdays with a birthday week!
Yeah, those treats look really good. They wouldn’t look so good on my hips, though.
Would love to get the entertaining book!
My tip: Always make one thing for the first time. Your guests will be honored that you wanted something special. Also, make sure you have a killer dessert. That way, no matter what the meal was like, they will remember that it was good!
Robin,
Thank you for giving all these nice gifts away to us wonderful people! You are a God send for cheering us up & I pray you enjoy your 50th birthday more than ever!
May God continue to bless you and your family! PS (give me 2 years & I’ll be 50)! Doesn’t seem possible! 🙂
Happy Happy Birthday and thank you for all of the giveaways. I just found your blog and am new to all this stuff so trying to figure out how to enter. 🙂 Love the encouraging words.
Robin, thank you for reminding me to embrace my faith in the darkness of this year. I KNOW I needed to but somehow your words rang true for me in a way that helped me actually lift my eyes upward again. It has been weeks and weeks of blinding hot tears and grief, one loss and tragedy after another. I am drowning. Your words are a life raft. Thank you for writing. I wait anxiously for your next missive. Happy Birthday and Happy Easter!
Once again…. Happy 50th Birthday !!! The fifties are years of Jubilee… lots of life changes… most of them good if you allow yourself to lean on Jesus… in good times and bad times. There is so much to enjoy about this stage of life… it is really the beginning of a whole new stage of life. I will pray for your husband in his job search. Some companies have some pretty ridiculous requirements… to them family and home mean nothing. I feel like they must have a bit of Ebenezer Scrooge in them prior to his Christmas Eve conversion experience regarding Christmas and how there are so many things more important in life than money. And just so you know… you do NOT look even remotely close to 50… I find it hard to believe you have kids as old as they are… you look like you are in your late 30’s… I would have guessed 38 if I did not know better. Enjoy your family and your life. The best is yet to come for sure !
Happy 50th Birthday to my new Birthday Buddy! Rejoice in all that God has for you as you celebrate all of his blessings and accomplishments over the last 50 years!
Grace and each to you as you move forward into the future and all that God brings you to!

I’m not too far away from that “big” birthday myself. Happy birthday, and remember that age is just a number. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
Hey, my favorite book is 1000 gifts. My sister gave it to me at a very hard time in my life. It literally changed my life. I now look for God’s gifts for me each day.
I would love to win the wine tour at Biltmore Gardens. We live within driving distance. This would be a great 50th present for me since I turned 50 this year also. I love sparkling wine such as Asti Spumante. This has been a fun birthday, thanks for showing how turning 50 can be a good, and fun thing. Happy Birthday!!
Just shared your giveaway on my blog facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/RockinMomWJ
