October, 2007, our 20th Anniversary Trip–
On our way to Antigua, we spent one night in Puerto Rico, not nearly enough.  Old San Juan is a walking city, with magic awaiting every city block;
this beautiful window box, cascading with florid beauty,
is just one of many reasons why.

    Only in Puerto Rico can you get away with painting your building that color and having it look so spectacular!

    Oh that is gorgeous! I have never been to that part of the world.
    To answer your question about capturing the girls’ expressions – I was lucky – and I take a TON of shots. That day I took around 800 pictures over the five hours it took preparing and having the party. Thank the Lord for DSLRs.
    My son had the best comment EVER about my camera clicking habit of “just one more,” – he said to me one day, “Mom – at Sunday School they just take one picture.”
    “Yes, son, they do. And you can tell!”

    I would love to go there. My bio mom was born there and i feel such a connection to it even though I’ve never seen it…or her.
