It hit me today a fair number of beach photographs I’ve taken fit Carmi’s Thematic Photographic this week: Wood. Even though my precious is in the camera hospital, our point and shoot is rising to the occasion.

The end justifies the means
So close you can taste it
Where the wild things are
Creepy Trees
And because they fit the theme and I haven’t had reason to post ’em before, two bonus shots–
Great shots of the boardwalks. I like the extra angles for a different point of view. My favorite, tho, is the barn. I love old barns and collect shots of them when we travel across country.
These are absolutely beautiful. And, oh my goodness, the boardwalk! I miss Kiawah!
lovely photos, and the boardwalk, wonderful 🙂
Oh, wow… I almost missed this, because I thought I’d already seen everybody’s TP posts. But since you’re obviously having a fabulous time at a beautiful-looking beach, I forgive you for being so late. Besides, it was worth the wait. I’m so glad Carmi gave you an excuse to post that last photo… I love the stack of weathered beams! But I disagree with you about the trees: they are NOT creepy! They’re quite pretty. *nods*

Your Nikon didn’t get back in time for this trip?

I think you could make photographic lemonade with a Kodak Brownie camera that had been run over by my neighbor’s ATV. These are amazing and thought provoking.
You sure you’re getting any vacation time between all the shutterbugging?
Rest well, m’friend.
🙂
