Well, of course you belong there. Hmm, so do I… I demand a recount.
Seriously, did I read that right? There are no influential conservative political blogs on that list? Yay for Pioneer Woman! I had to scratch my head at several others who shall remain nameless and are past their expiration date, shall we say? Hey! What smells here! Oh yes, blogs well past their prime.
The husband loves Freakonomics and hooray for Pioneer Woman.
Agree or disagree, all I have to say is BOOYA! I was a finalist in a category with DOOCE and PIONEER WOMAN for the 2009 Bloggies. Ain’t that sunthin’!?
Well, the only one of those that I read with any regularity is Pioneer Woman. I’ve visited Dooce if referred there, and on occasion Perez Hilton. None of those are really my style. I have a list that I hit everyday–Pensieve, AudreyCaroline, BigMamma, BooMamma, Nestingplace, Lysa Terkeurst, and a couple local gals from my church.
Joie, I decided not to name names, too, BUT…how can Darren Rowse (ProBlogger) not be on that list???
Tonggu Momma, it’s kinda fun ’cause I knew Ree “when”….
Secret Agent Mama, hey, you! I know you NOW!! Well you remember me “when”??? 🙂
CathyT, I gotta tell you…your comment was like a 2-pound bag of Peanut M&Ms–SWEET!! 🙂 (THANKS!)
They told me that I was #26 and I would make it next year.
🙂
hah
I tend to read within the same genre, so most of those were not familiar to me, but YAY for Pioneer Woman! HOORAY for Okie bloggers! 🙂 She has an amazing and inspirational thing going there, that’s for sure.
I was also surprised to not see Darren Rowse was not on the list. He’s pretty prolific. Hmmmm.
of course I read Ree — ever since she started.
But I think there was a certain slant to many of their other choices.
Actually, “Time” called me and begged me to be on their top 25 list, but as shy as I am…I declined.
I read Pioneer Woman pretty regularly and was glad to see her in there! But what about so many other great ones?!
