Do you collect Box Tops for Education? It's a great initiative begun by General Mills in 1996. If yours isn't taking part, you're missing out on FREE cash–just look at the brands included!
The above represents about a year's worth of tearing corners,
each one a dime for my kids' school. Care to guess how many?
I'll even give you a hint: it's divisible by five…;)

Wow..that is a lot of box tops..I have cut a few here and there..wink!
sandy toe
We collect them too! I would say in a year, you have collected…355!
I’m going to say 245
I’ll guess 275. They add up quickly around here, they are on so many products we use.
Interesting. We don’t have such a programme in Singapore. I’ll have to find out how it works.
Excellent. I’ve spent some parent volunteer time in the teacher’s lounge sorting those things. It really is a great promotion.
Love it! As a teacher I clip ALL box tops I see.
Happy WW. I always see those on products we buy, but I never really knew what they were for. I also never thought to look into it.
My guess, based on how the image looks, is . . . 60!?
I’m going with 315. These ladies are underestimating you!
I’m going with an even 500. 🙂
I’m not even sure if my daughter’s school collects them- I haven’t seen any fliers come home with her. I really need to find out.
It’s new to me! 🙂
wow! that’s great! we save them but I was giving them to my DD’s school and then logged in to BT online and saw that my son’s school did horribly so I’m trying to organize something for the parents to get more involved with this program at his school.
we collect boxtops for our son’s school. i don’t know how much they make each year, but every little bit helps.
We do it too but as a BoxTop mom all I see is the enormous amount of work in cutting all of those down. Did you know that they only accept those that have been cut down to those teeny little lines? FYI for those who send them in- please! cut them down. Your BoxTop coordinator will love you for it!
We do here too! And wowza do I ever get a lot. I give it to them in baggies in spurts, because I collect so many!
Great stash of box tops – and it makes a colorful photo.
We do box tops here too. I’ve never had that many at one time though. They send home these color and paste sheets that Zoe loves to do… so our tops get glued a lot. And they have monthly contests… so we always turn ours in.
I just sent my kids to school with some…actually I think they both had a sheet with 25-30 taped to it. Now I don’t purposely seek out products with Boxtops, but I try to pay attention to the ones we get and tear/cut them off. It certainly is an easy way to “give” to the school. And since it doesn’t look like we’ll stop buying Hamburger helper and huggies wipes anytime soon, I’ll keep collecting them.
Our homeschool group collects them. Previously, I gave them to my niece’s school. Before that, our own kids’ school when I hadn’t begun homeschooling.
My guess would be . . . 175. 😀
ummm, yeah…OOPS! That was LAST WEEK’S PICTURE! I’ve corrected the link
(and you’re low 😉 )
nice one… endless learning!!! I am finally back.. hope you an visit mine too… I am sure you’ll get a wordless laugh at my entry… LOL! Happy WW!
Wow! That’s a lot. I haven’t saved nearly that many. Hmm. I’m going to guess 450! You go Super Mom!
cool. if only they have this in Spore!
