His bones were broken…

And though it could’ve been much worse, he had surgery…

…felt lousy for a little while, and will have to sit out most of the soccer season.

When it happened and he was hurting bad, I was hurting bad. And right after surgery when he was hurting worse, I was hurting worse.  

But then a painful realization occurred to me:  the unimaginable anguish…how much worse…
