Sometimes I can be surprisingly literal and uncharacteristically brief —
Somewhere in Georgia, July 2010. Homegrown tomatoes from someone very close to me. All I have to say is bless…her…heart.
How does YOUR garden grow? DO share links from your bounty!
ewwww
My squash are all messed up: http://www.achocolatecoveredtodolist.com/2010/07/squash-troubleshooting/
I haven’t had much bounty yet. But I have had bok choy, lettuce, and tomatoes are on their way!
I grew up in a house where the fruits of our garden went to our friends. And theirs came to us. It was an important reaffirmation of the importance of giving, of community, and of life.
This sequence took me right back. It is as it should be. Thanks for this, Robin.
Carmi,
I drove by an unattended roadside stand a few weeks ago; it had a sign posted "Vegetables for sale. Help yourself." There were veggies visible but no person around. I'm thinking they were free to a good home! IF I had a garden, I would love to share it! It only seems right and I'm glad that was the character of your home :). Doesn't surprise me a bit.
I DON’T KNOW WHETHER TO CRYYYYY OR LAUGH – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! LOVE YOU, TOO. SO MUCH!
